Begin Scene.
Fade in.
A dinner party now long into the evening. Dinner plates are pushed aside and the conversation is raging along wonderfully. You reach for the wine and find that the bottle is empty. Now what to do? It is getting late but your guests would clearly like a touch more wine. You search for something else to drink and find only prized bottles that are not ready or too special to open as your "cleanup" bottle. With everyone waiting and no other choice you reach for that pricey cult California Cabernet with 15% alcohol. You will regret this in the morning.
Fade out.
End scene.
This is a familiar scene in our house so we decided to again offer a mixed case of wines for an average of about $13 a bottle tax included. That's 20% off full price!
The case includes 8 reds and 4 whites.

The Reds:

Jeanne Marie Cabernet Sauvignon 2014: Delicious and fruit-forward red. And a great value for a Californian wine! Grapes are selected from families located in Napa and Sonoma Valley. 13% abv

Barrique Pinot Noir 2015: Sensational Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 13.5% abv

Romitorio Chianti Colli Senesi 2015: Chianti is a big area with many sub-regions. This 100% Sangiovese is aromatic and vibrant. 14% abv

Terra Boa 2015: A dry, deep ruby, with aromas of blueberry, spices and raisins from local Portuguese grapes where the best Port wines are made. 13% abv

Pot de Vin 2016: Certified Biodynamic Merlot from the southwest of France. Ripe and delicious, this will make you rethink Merlot. 13% abv

BaBeViBoBu D.O. Valencia 2014: We tried this at Casa Mono and fell in love. The grape is Bobal, Spain's answer to Montepulciano. 13% abv

Combel La Serre Cahors 2015: Cahors is an appellation in the southwest of France. This Father and son operation produces a warm and serious organic Malbec. 12.5% abv

Aurora Barbera 2015: Barbera is the entry way to Italian wine. Smooth bodied and easy to drink, this organic example of Piemontes everyday red wine is perfect for pizza night, too. 12% abv

The Whites:

Roccafiore Grechetto 2016: Grechetto di Todi is the most important white grape of Umbria. We loved the balance and direct flavors of pink grapefruit, green apple and white flowers on this perfect everyday white. 13% abv

Anselmo Mendes Vinho Verde Loureiro 2016: Loureiro is the white grape of the Vinho Verde region in Portugal. This is a still example, not effervescent, and reminds us of Gruner Veltliner with its lime, quince and apple notes. An incredible value too! 12% abv

Momo Sauvignon Blanc 2015: New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough county. Grassy and clean. 13% abv

Bishops Peak Chardonnay 2016: Make the in-laws happy! 13% abv
