92+ pts Stephen Tanzer
"(42 hectoliters per hectare produced): Very closed on the nose, hinting at lemon, menthol and liquid stone. Tighter and even more austere than the '16 Beauroy owing to the recent bottling but very pure and sharply chiseled, conveying a tactile, chewy quality to its flavors of underripe pineapple, grapefruit zest and crushed stone. This uncompromising wine is most impressive today on its whiplash of a finish. Lay this one down."
