Palmento Costanzo vineyards are inside the Mount Etna national park in Sicily. The volcanic soil and local climate make this an area particularly suited to agriculture and wine growing. The landscape has been shaped by centuries of farming on terraces of lava-infused soil.
These terraced slopes are as old as Etna herself and are part of Sicily’s coastline. They have been cultivated for centuries – watered by underground streams fed by the winter snows that fall at the top of Etna.
Tasting notes: Medium straw yellow. Fruity and flowery at the nose, with yellow citrus pulp, balsamic and mineral hints.
