Shipping & Delivery Policy
You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase alcoholic beverages. By placing your order you have represented to Tarry Wine that you are at least 21. All shipments of alcoholic beverages require an adult's (at least 21 years of age) signature upon delivery.

Free Local delivery within 10 miles of our shop for orders $250 or more.

The Fine Print
The customer contracts with the carrier (FedEx), who Tarry Wine will engage on behalf of the customer. In the case of shipments outside New York State, the sole responsibility for complying with local regulations or tax requirements rests with the customer. If we are unable to ship to your area, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and suggest that shipping be arranged to a direct-shipping friendly state. Please call or e-mail info@tarrywine.com for additional information.

Orders are shipped via FedEx. With Fed Ex we offer Ground and 2 Day. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been processed confirming your scheduled shipment date, and then a subsequent email with your tracking number with which you may track your order. Please note: FedEx orders do not ship out on Saturday or Sunday.

During times of extreme heat or cold, we will gladly hold your purchases until we can ensure safer travel. If you opt to have your order shipped during such extreme weather, Tarry Wine cannot assume responsibility for the condition of your wines upon delivery.

Our Return Policy
Unopened Items may be exchanged within 30 days for an item or items of equal value. 

If You Bought a Defective Item:
If you open a bottle and find that it is defective, we will gladly exchange it for a bottle of equal or greater value. If you exchange an item for one of greater value, you will be asked to provide the retail price difference, along with any applicable taxes, at the time of the exchange.To exchange we ask for the following: sales receipt, original bottle (with wine to be evaluated) and cork. 

Since we cannot control how bottles are stored once they leave our possession, we will only accept bottles for exchange within 30 days of purchase.

Wines over 10 years of age and natural wines are not available for return.

How to Return Items:
Bring your items back to Tarry Wine LLC within 30 days of purchase, along with your original sales receipt. If your items were shipped or delivered, please call or email orders@tarrywine.com to discuss your options.

Cancelled Orders:
Cancelled orders may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Discounts:
Most items are available for a 10% discount when purchased by a 12 bottle case. This includes mix and match cases. No discounts on spirits, accessories, classes or fine and rare items. Items marked NET are also not available for the discount policy.

I've placed orders on your old website - but my login credentials don't work on this new site.  What's going on?
We have replatformed our ecommerce and all customers must register as new to place orders on the new site.
